Mission: affordable optical payloads for small satellites
DST GbR is a spin-off from the TU Berlin. Our Mission is to serve our customers with cost effective and reliable optical payloads for small satellites. Key Personell of DST GbR develops optical payloads since 2002. A speciality of DST GbR are high performance foldable telescopes. Our technology enables mass and volume savings of over 50% compared to classical non deployable technology.
A satellite with the DST payload can achieve

a 3 times higher resolution at same cost or
- it is 10 times cheaper at the same resolution
than satellites with classical non deployable payloads.
Our team closely cooperates with the Berlin space industry (RIBB). Major partners are the chair of astronautics of TU Berlin and the Astro- und Feinwerktechnik Adlershof GmbH. These technological allicances ensure the high quality of our products.DST GbR has recieved Exist Seed funding. Exist Seed is a program by the German Ministry of Science supported by the European Social Fonds (ESF) to foster high tech start-ups from universities.
